Safety First

Based on a True Story

When a colleague commended others for hand washing, my quick response earned me this expensive LED flashlight on which is engraved "Employee Safety Award". Here are my award winning words of caution:

"Hate to burst your bubble, this nomination only qualifies if they were standing on a standard RibCo® non-slip mat and wearing a Johnny-Aid™ hand washing harness properly rated for their height, weight and glove size per Article 4 of Section 12 under “Washroom Procedures” in the 2004 addendum to the Employee Safety portion of our Music Property and Casualty Policy. Under typical circumstances, hand washing is considered an unsafe activity."
Since receiving this honor, I have been offered speaking engagements at leaders of industry safety such as Exxon-Mobile and BP. Consider how you can help save a life today.
